The Little Lad's Mystery

Portland Psst! posts on local stores shutting down / boarding up. Little Lad's has not been open for a while, but with a sign on the door about them looking for a new manager. I still can't figure out how they can afford the rent at that space considering, when they were open, it was only for lunch - and they charged like $2 for a full plate buffet. It seem like if you are going to charge so little, you need to make it up in volume of sales. But maybe that popcorn sells really, really well. Oh wait, you could get that free there.

Little Lad's, 482 Congress, appears to be cranking out their hippie crack (herbed popcorn), but the store front looks as good as gone, via WoM, and the phones don't get answered.

Ladle is taking a nap. And Granny's may be reopened by the owner of Maine Beer and Beverage.
