Aucocisco Gallery, another neighbor here in the State Theatre Building, is heading to the Old Port. The Press Herald reports on the closing of the Daniel Kany Gallery on Exchange Street; Andrea Versoa will move Aucocisco into the space Kany is vacating. The article also mentions that the Addison Wooley Gallery may also be closing.
Aucocisco is the second major tenant to leave the building recently. But considering the prominent space he is in, and his popularity, it is a significant departure to the building and the neighborhood.
