Scarborough councilor turned bank-robber

What is this, the old west?
A former Scarborough town councilor is being held on bail of $10,000 cash or property, following his arrest last week for robbing a bank in Biddeford.

Robert Patch, 45, appeared in federal court in Portland this morning for a bail hearing.

Police say Patch – armed with his son’s pellet gun and wearing a neck warmer pulled up over his nose – robbed the Maine Bank & Trust branch on Adams Street Wednesday morning.
