"The City of Portland has granted us a temporary 30-day 21+ liquor license after our inspection by the state failed yesterday due to clerical errors. City Hall quickly came to our aid and granted the temporary license. State Senator Justin Alfond (District 8 Portland) then rose to the occasion after offices closed yesterday and facilitated the temporary issuance. Owner Rob Evon is on his way to Augusta now to pick up this all-important piece of paper thanks to Senator Alfond's commitment on a Saturday morning"

Port City Music Hall Opens
The new venue is open, with a show last night. Apparently they have a drinking problem already.
